I have been craving for some "sian chai tang". Finally found a recipe to cook this soup. Then these scallops were on sale... bought some to experiment. Turned out pretty good!

Qatar Airways Service
Am now at Doha, Qatar with a 5 hour plus transit. I was pleasantly surprised that Qatar airways provided free meals to those having transit of more than five hours...saved 55 bucks for dinner haha..thank you Qatar Airways..

The Day The World Stood Still
Am now blogging live at SARAWAT hypermart adjacent to Le Meridian Jeddah Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. After dinner Chris and me decided to go to the hypermart to buy some water and snacks. After selecting our water and snacks we headed to the checkout counter to pay...suddenly everything stopped!! Shutters closed, no one allowed in or out. Why? It was prayer time...everything comes to a stand still during prayer times...we had no choice but to wait it out..luckily no urge to go toilet..
